You've seen this one. You know what it is.
Edit: oops... apparently some don't know what this is... Ok, well, it's an 18th century red Polonaise that I made in November of 2006. It was my first of this type and it was lots of work. My makeup and hair do not reflect the period whatsoever, because I wanted a more a funky / rococo feel. Hopefully one day I can get "real" pictures done of this dress... ♥ Daily DeviationGiven 2008-06-1418th century dress - 5 by *Idzit. A dress style of the Ancien Régime of a cut-away overskirt combined with bodice, called a "polonaise," a style instituted by Marie Antoinette which mimicked the way peasant women hoisted up and secured their skirts to keep them clean. This very comely deviant has a wide range of talent, so allow yourself to be allured and drawn in to view her artworks, especially her other historical garments. (Featured by `Kitten-of-Woe) |
