I started making this a few days ago and it's been my obsession to try to finish it.
Why, yes! Those ARE real box-pleats around the neckline and sleeves, thanks for asking.
The caraco is made of cotton floral print fabric, and lined in a cream colored cotton. It's nice and light.
As an added neat-o feature, the ribbon used on the neckline pleating is extended a few more inches to allow to be tied in a pretty ribbon on the front. Nifty, I know...

Je sais très bien comment les réaliser, mais je ne sais pas comment les fixer sans tout aplatir au passage de la machine. Il n'y a aucun autre moyen que de tout se taper à la main? T_T
