Steampunk Expeditionwear 03

Here's a photo of my new Steampunk costume, worn during an "Expedition" to the museum of Nature, with the local chapter of Steampunk enthusiasts.

My costume consists of
~ My 1886 Victorian walking skirt (hoisted up most of the day)
~ An Edwardian Leg-o-mutton sleeve shirt that I just made (ivory cotton with an itty-bitty herringbone pattern) which is trimmed with antique lace, and velvet ribbon; lace/beaded cuffs and collar.
~ A leather bustier I had purchased in Spain years ago
~ A wooden binocular (?) box with added hardware, turned into a purse
~ A... thingamajigger made of faux-leather to hold my "vials" (for collecting specimens while on an expedition) and pocketwatch
~ My double wrap-around leather belt.
~ Oh yeah and goggles.
